There is (was?) an artist named Frederick S. Fudala, somewhere in upstate New York, who (a long time ago) was on deviantart and created this drawing which I “embedded” into “‘Tami Smithers Was Here’” on the writingsofleviticus site. It’s called “Druuna’s Ascent”, a tribute to the graphic novel character created by Paolo Serpieri. As I recall Mr. Fudala’s original comment was: “I picture Druuna, having been stripped by a gang of thugs, escaping by scaling this cliff, only to find herself thrust into yet another peril which she will have to deal with while naked.” It fits in with Tami’s plight in general, and in particular her scaling the cliff to get away from teenage toughs at the end of Part 29 of “‘Tami Smithers Was Here’”. Fred, I’ve been trying to find you for years, please contact me!
SliceReality Does His Magic! The Princess, on Currency, Stamps and Billboards
You are already familiar with Slice from his work on the Tami Smithers stories (see https://www.donnylaja.com/slice-realitys-images)
As you know from the story, the Cabinet decided it was time to put the Princess’s image on currency and stamps. It was decided that the extent of exposure would increase with increase in face value.

The late King Mahesh IV, 1894 - 1948, the Princess’s much-respected father, as he appeared on the 100 Silver Petal note, Series 1946.
Princess Timtup on the new Series 1954. The motto, to her right, reads, “She is our treasure, her skin the richest bronze”.
The old 200 SP series, with the pagoda on the lake background. This is the royal teahouse, where visitors are often received during the summer months.
The new series added mottos, the content of which were discussed and decided on at Cabinet. The Princess expressed no opinion during these discussions, though she does not have the power to approve or veto. This motto reads, “She without clothes shall lead us to glory”.
The world’s highest mountains are a natural backdrop with this small Himalayan nation.
“Her naked Will is as steadfast as the mountains”. As mentioned above, royal exposure increases with the denomination.
Another mountain scene. The King, while attached to the Royal Navy, helped recover British Singapore from the Empire of Japan in 1945. He is shown in his white Navy dress uniform.
The Princess is now in the full exposure pose she presents during public benedictions, signifying not only Purity and Truth but (shaved so that her labia are exposed and emphasized) New Life, which the motto calls “the gift from the Above”. She holds the Royal Dragon in her right hand. In her left is the Map of the World, familiar to readers of Kipling’s Kim.
Inflation has been kept under control, so that the 10,000 Silver Petal note, first issued with misgivings in 1946, remains the highest denomination in the new series.
The Princess on the 10,000 SP note. This was a live pose on windy Lake Ciso, in front of a fully bundled up camera crew. As can be seen, the Princess understandably hesitates before planting a bare foot onto the snowy rock. There are two mottoes here, “Her nudity leads us” and “Her body is ours, sacred and untarnished”.
An early draft of the 10,000 SP note, with a rudimentary border, rejected because it did not show the Princess in full exposure. However the Cabinet plans to use this image in other contexts.
As with many small nations, stamps are a significant source of income from foreign collectors. This is the old series.
The new series. Again, royal exposure increases with face value.
The full pose from which the stamp images were taken. This was the result of a long session in the Palace, with various angles and lighting options attempted in front of a screen. The public was invited, and 200 folding chairs were put out for spectators.
As noted, the Princess’s nudity is not considered sexual. It represents purity; honesty (as in “the naked Truth”); freedom from assertions of status which clothes unavoidably signify; and strength (because she does not need clothes).
The scandalous drawing of the Princess actually wearing clothes, which got its artist imprisoned for treason. Secretly the Princess keeps a copy under her pillow and places it on her private shrine at bedtime, praying for the day when she will be allowed the benefit of covering. She hates living her days in complete nakedness and being constantly exposed to public view. But as is obvious, putting on clothes is not possible for her.
The first of several inspirational billboards being put up just inside border crossings. They will serve as a welcome sign to foreigners and returning countrymen alike.
Four versions of the billboard will be put up, each dedicated to a season. The winter version will feature snow on the Princess’s hair and nipples stiffened with the cold. This is the finalized photo for the version for summer, a very hot season in her country. What thoughts lie behind her pretty eyes can only be imagined.
